Permanent fellow of the CRC 1265 from 15.02.2020 to 31.12.2021.
Angela McRobbie is Professor of Communication Science at Goldsmiths University in London and member of the Royal Society of Arts, UK. Her research interests include feminist theory, gender and popular culture, the emergence of the creative economy, fashion start-ups and social enterprise as well as gender and modern labour economics. Her publications include "Be Creative: Making a Living in the New Culture Industries" (2015), "The Aftermath of Feminism: Gender, Culture and Social Change" (2008), "The Uses of Cultural Studies" (2005), "British Fashion Design: Rag Trade or Image Industry?" (1998).
Angela McRobbie lives in London and Berlin.
